Thank you for your interest in my health and fitness programs. Movement has always been a significant and meaningful part of my life – dance lessons as a toddler and student, tree climbing for fresh, ripe plums in my back yard, embracing the triathlon lifestyle in my 20’s.
I began my formal adventure in the exercise profession by earning a Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maryland in the 80’s. In retrospect, that was the tip of the iceberg! For over 35 years now, I have found the exploration and discernment of the way our bodies function and move to be riveting.
I practice as an elite personal trainer (Ace Gold Certified), yoga teacher (RYT 200-hr), holistic health coach (Institute for Integrative Health), and Yoga Tune Up® certified instructor. Although health and fitness is not a licensed profession, I am required and happily submit to earning continuing education credits to maintain all of my credentials. Pursuing research and evolution of exercise science is a lifelong passion I will forever embrace.

Lisa was my fitness trainer for close to 13 years in Connecticut. She worked with me following a diagnosis of MS, modifying our routines as my physical abilities changed. Throughout our time together, Lisa was highly professional and a warm, caring friend. She was instrumental in advising me on my nutrition choices. I cannot say enough good things about our time together. Francestown is very fortunate to have her!
I started taking a Yoga class with Lisa just a few months ago. She really supports and encourages my practice and my growth. She has created such a warm and caring setting. I really look forward to each class.
Thanks, Lisa! You have supported me more than you know. Your guidance and coaching have been monumental in helping me make time for myself, and in regaining my health in body and mind.
Lisa gently challenges and encourages us throughout class, and is always accommodating to those of us who have occasional physical challenges. Lisa has a kind and generous heart and is a great teacher of life and yoga.
I feel I improved my body and mind. Working with Lisa has taught me so much more than just yoga poses. Lisa is a beautiful soul and that comes through at all her classes. Enjoy.
OK, I admit it. I wasn’t a big fan of the YTU® balls. However, I may be changing my mind! The constant hip pain that I have had since I fell on the ice last winter – which was bad enough at times to make me limp – was mysteriously gone this morning after last evening’s YTU® class. It has stayed away all day. Thank you, Lisa!
